Mikhail Karikis is a Greek-British artist who has been dealing for over ten years with the potential of participatory art in relation to the global ecological crisis. His work comprises film and audio-visual installations for which he works worldwide, collaborating with structurally neglected groups such as children and people with disabilities. His main point is here not to speak on behalf of them but to make their embodied voices audible and to envoke the revolutionary potential of listening.

Current exhibitions: TATE Liverpool (solo), MORI Art Museum (solo), RIBOCA 2 (Biennale)
